Behind the easel..
I am a Scottish artist based in the Highlands with a love for wild landscapes, quiet moments and the beauty of the natural world.
I mainly paint in oils, allowing me to build layers of colour and texture to create atmospheric, dreamy scenes. I love capturing that feeling of standing somewhere completely surrounded by nature where time seems to slow down.
My work is a little piece of my love for Scotland and it’s nature, created to bring that sense of calm and emotion with escapism into your home.

My work space ..
Artworks are created from my home studio, in the Highlands of Scotland.I use windsor and newton as well as Michael Harding oil paints, mixed with a range of mediums such as linseed oil.
As for surfaces, I enjoy painting on a range of canvas’ as well as wood boards and wood slices for a more rustic feel.
For my watercolour paintings, I use rembrant artist grade materials. These allow me to explore with a different form of painting with a more subtle and loose style.
